Privacy Policy

Who is responsible
The controller of your personal data is Brixscan. For any privacy request, contact us through the contact form.
What we collect and why
- Set checks. When you check a set, we store the set number and the parts you mark as missing or damaged, with a random ID. This is anonymous and not linked to you; it exists so a saved report link keeps working.
- Contact form. If you message us, we receive your name, email and message. We use them only to read and reply to you. Legal basis: your consent.
- Technical data. Our infrastructure may briefly log technical information such as your IP address and request details, to keep the service running and secure. Legal basis: our legitimate interest.
Cookies
We don’t use tracking, analytics, or advertising cookies, and we don’t profile you — so there’s no cookie banner. Your browser may keep a local cache so the app works offline; that stays on your device.
Who else can see your data
We use a small number of service providers that act on our behalf to host the site, store data, deliver your contact message to us, and protect the form from spam. Some of them are located outside the EU/EEA (including in the United States), so your data may be transferred there. Where that happens, the transfer is covered by appropriate safeguards — such as the European Commission’s Standard Contractual Clauses or the EU–US Data Privacy Framework — and you can ask us for more details. We don’t sell your data.
How long we keep it
Anonymous set checks are kept while they remain useful for the service. Contact messages are kept only as long as needed to handle your request.
Your rights
You can request access, correction, erasure, restriction, objection, and portability of your personal data, and you can withdraw consent at any time — just contact us. Because set checks are anonymous we usually can’t link them to you; to remove a specific saved report, send us its link.
You also have the right to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority. In Sweden that is the Swedish Authority for Privacy Protection (IMY).
Changes
We may update this policy as the service changes; the date above shows the latest version.
